Hello Team Church and all you other hardcore web surfers out there. This is my very first blog; not just my very first blog for Team Church, but my very first blog period. I am surprised at how intimidating it is. When Steve asked me to “co-blog” with him I thought, “Sure…no big deal.” Yet now that I sit here typing away I find myself with the proverbial butterflies in my stomach.

There is an old saying, “Anything that is worth doing is worth doing well.” I am not sure where that phrase originates, but there is a great deal that we as Christians can glean from it. I believe, to piggyback on Steve’s theme for this coming Sunday, that this is a summary of integrity. We have a responsibility as followers of Christ to let Him shine through in all that we do. This includes work life, family life, church life, social life, and so on and so forth.

My challenge to you is to make sure that Jesus shines through in everything you do. Whether it be behind your computer, at the job site, washing dishes or playing with your children. Let your integrity be apparent no matter what. And I will try to let Him shine through in my weekly posting no matter how rambunctious the butterflies get!
